Our Community Involvement

Planting the Seeds for Future Careers

This summer, we had the opportunity to share our passion for road construction with students from Goochland County Public Schools’ 2026 Young Engineers Construction Camp during a visit to our Rockville yard.

The students got a behind-the-scenes look at the road construction industry, exploring our equipment, watching machinery in action, climbing into some of our trucks, and learning about the work that goes into building and maintaining the roads in our communities.

We’re proud to support opportunities that introduce students to the many career paths available in the construction industry, from equipment operation and skilled trades to engineering and project management.

We hope their visit sparked curiosity, inspired future builders and engineers, and planted the seeds for the next generation of problem-solvers in our industry!
